Welcome to The Mary and Ralph Wilson, Jr. Hospice Inpatient Unit, located in Cheektowaga, NY, on the Mitchell Campus.

The Mary and Ralph Wilson, Jr. Hospice Inpatient Unit is the only unit of its kind in New York State. Our unique facility provides short-term care for Hospice patients, usually for up to two weeks.

The patient's physician may recommend The Mary and Ralph Wilson, Jr. Hospice Inpatient Unit to help a patient whose pain or symptoms cannot be managed at home, or to care for a patient approaching the end-stage of his or her illness who does not wish to remain at home. Hospice patients can also be admitted to the unit for short-term respite care.

We offer a home-life atmosphere, including open visiting hours for family members and friends, children and pets, spacious lounge areas, a family kitchen, outdoor courtyard and patio with barbecue grill, a memorial walkway and a non-denominational meditation chapel.
