The Hospice Foundation conducts a number of fund raising events and special promotions each year. These events combine with a number of community sponsored activities that benefit the Hospice Foundation.

Light-A-Life Tree Lighting Ceremony - First Saturday in December

Individuals may purchase tags & bells inscribed with their loved ones' names which are displayed on the tree. Gifts are $25, $50, $100 and $500. Each year the tree is displayed at Computer Task Group's headquarters at 800 Delaware Avenue and remains lit throughout the month of December.

Hospice Buffalo Spring Bouquet Sale - Early March

Welcome spring with lovely mixed bouquets from Hospice Buffalo. This promotion is the largest annual fund raising event for Hospice. Presented by the Professional Florists of WNY. Bouquets are available for $7 at participating flower shops, corporate pre-sale locations, and public sites such as malls, hospitals, and downtown buildings. Over 500 volunteers assist with the sale.

Come join us for the 1st annual KIDS COOK - April

A family fun event to benefit the Essential Care Program and Carly's Club at Roswell Park Cancer Institute. This event will offer cooking demonstrations for children and adults along with a vendor fair featuring local restaurants and products. For more information log on to www.kidscookwny.com.


Hospice Buffalo Memorial Walk - May

A 5K (3.1 mile) walk-a-thon to pay tribute to those who are no longer with us. Friends, family and co-workers join together to walk in memory of loved ones. Registration & celebration picnic held at Erie Basin Marina. Presented by Wegman's.

Harvest Festival, a celebration of Hospice friends & family - October

The Hospice Foundation’s Harvest Festival pays tribute to community members who avidly support the services of The Center for Hospice & Palliative Care. The event features wine tasting, live and silent auctions, a sit-down dinner, an awards ceremony, live music and dancing.
